FOR A GREENER TOMORROW.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) UPDATES
The Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District (SWMD) office and Collection Facility, located at 5138 Enterprise Drive in Warren, is adhering to Governor DeWine’s “Stay-at-Home” order and is closing immediately to the public through Monday, April 6th.
This closure relates ONLY to the main office and the Collection Facility for electronics and appliances on Enterprise Drive.
COMMUNITY DROP-OFF RECYCLING SITES FOR BOTTLES, CANS, PAPER, ETC. WILL REMAIN OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will continue to be serviced on their normally scheduled days. Please use proper precautions when visiting a drop-off recycling site, including washing your hands after your visit.
Curbside recycling services (where applicable) are provided directly from community waste haulers and any changes will be determined and communicated by those haulers. To date, no curbside service schedule changes have been reported to the SWMD.
If you have any questions, please contact the SWMD. Staff members will be maintaining “minimum basic operations” and will check office voicemail and email regularly during the closure.
Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
