2021 is the 51st anniversary of Earth Day!

Thursday, April 22^nd will mark the 51st year of mobilizing Americans for the protection of the planet. While last year was the big "5-0", the COVID-19 outbreak disrupted many of our programs to celebrate this golden anniversary.

We hope to make up for it this year with lots of cleanups and other great activities! We can support any individual or group cleanups by providing garbage bags, gloves, safety vests, and litter grabbers. ALL cleanup volunteers will receive Earth Day T-shirts (while supplies last).

DUE TO YOUR GREAT RESPONSE, ALL OF OUR VOLUNTEER T-SHIRTS ARE NOW RESERVED. We have over 1000 volunteers signed up to date and more requests are coming in daily. We absolutely can still provide garbage bags, gloves, litter grabbers, and vests. Please continue to contact us for those supplies. Thank you for your commitment to cleaning up litter in Geauga and Trumbull Counties!

April 21, 2021 - Household Hazardous Waste collection resumes
The Trumbull County Collection Facility on Enterprise Dr. will begin Household Hazardous Waste Collection every Wednesday for the spring and summer months (April 21-October 27).

May 1, 2021 - Trumbull Collection Facility opens for Saturday collections
The Trumbull County Collection Facility on Enterprise Dr. will be open on select Saturdays in 2021 to accept Household Hazardous Waste, Electronics and Appliances.

May 1, 2021 - Operation: EMPTY Medicine Cabinet (Drug Take Back Day)
Clean out your medicine cabinets and bring unused and expired prescription medications to the Trumbull County Collection Facility for proper disposal.

May 15, 2021 - One-Day Electronics and Appliances Collection - Geauga County (see flyer)
Bring televisions, computers, monitors, laptops/tablets, refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, microwaves, etc. for recycling.
LIMIT 2 BULKY ITEMS PER HOUSEHOLD

To reduce participant wait time, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

If you are unable to attend this great event, we can collect all electronics and appliances at our Trumbull County Collection Facility, right off of 422 on the outskirts of Warren. We are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9-4:30.

June 19, 2021 - One-Day HHW Collection - Geauga County (see flyer)
Bring chemicals, oil-based paints, used oil, cleaners, pool chemicals, lead-acid batteries, fluorescent lightbulbs, old gasoline, etc. for proper disposal and recycling.

We will accept HHW on Wednesdays from April 21 - Oct 27, 2021 from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. We will also be open select Saturdays during these months for HHW, electronics, and appliances collection from 9 am -12 noon.
