2020 is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day!

Wednesday, April 22nd will mark the 50th year of mobilizing Americans for the protection of the planet. To celebrate, Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste is planning many great events and activities!


Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County - Earth Day Art Show
Earth Day is turning 50 this year, and the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County will be celebrating by hosting an art show open to artworks that raise awareness, appreciation, and depict the natural beauty of the Earth's environment. Up to five works per artist or collaborative may be entered.

How to enter: 
Hand deliver entries to Art on Park, 180 N. Park Ave., Warren, OH on the following drop-off dates:
Friday, March 21st            or       Saturday, March 22nd     
2:30-6:00 p.m.                                  11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Entry Fee: There is NO fee to enter, and artists may enter up to 5 works.
All works will be accepted and displayed, so long as they fit the theme and there is enough room.

Return of exhibitied work: Works can be picked up on Friday, May 1st between 2:00 - 5:30 p.m.

April 22, 2020 - Household Hazardous Waste Collection resumes
The Trumbull County Collection Facility on Enterprise Dr. will begin Household Hazardous Waste collection every Wednesday for the spring and summer months.
9:00 am - 5:00 pm


May 9, 2020 - Shred Day
Bring your confidential documents to be shredded on site and recycled. This FREE event is available to all Geauga and Trumbull County residents. Limit 4 boxes.
