Why is it important to recycle at school?

Since up to 80% of school waste is recyclable, schools make a huge impact when they recycle. Recycling is also cheaper than trash disposal, so it helps save the environment AND your school budget! School recycling can inspire students to care about the planet, to examine the resources that we use to make our world sustainable and to look at the consequences of using resources and generating pollution and waste.
